Uttered From The Past

Patterson has long had an intrinsic fascination with African Art, in particular with masks.  The genesis of his 'Uttered From The Past' series resulted when he made a birthday gift for his wife; later he decided to create more. The mask series consists of twelve designs with each of the designs being unique to one of the twelve months of the year.  Meticulous detail is given to each of the cast bronze works of art. Each of these distinctive masks receives a unique series of patina applications.
